Raleigh Little Theater

Raleigh Little Theatre is a community theatre that produces 11 full productions annually and maintains a comprehensive youth and adult theatre education programs. Tickets are $16 for students. First Sunday is $12 for everyone.

 

JC Raulston Arboretum

The JC Raulston Arboretum is a nationally acclaimed garden with one of the largest and most diverse collections of landscape plants adapted for landscape use in the Southeast. Plants especially adapted to Piedmont North Carolina conditions are collected and evaluated in an effort to find superior plants for use in southern landscapes. There numerous events held in the garden for both adults and children.

State Capitol

One of the claims to fame of the North Carolina State Capital Building is that it is the most haunted of all state capitals. When first occupied it held all three branches of the state government. Today, it is the working offices of the governor. It contains a statue and a portrait of George Washington.
